Hi,
After installing a new driver today, I rebooted and it told me Windows couldn't load because drivers\pci.sys is missing.
I rebooted with Last Known Good configuration and it came up fine, so I copied pci.sys to C:\ and rebooted, but to my surprise, Windows loaded just fine this time.
When you choose Last Known Good, does that previous configuration become permanent? I thought it was a one time deal?
Is there a way to go back to my broken config and copy the missing file, or should I just be happy it boots and leave it at that?
