Laserjet 4si Macintosh OS X

I'm having trouble printing to a Laserjet 4si after switching to OS 10.2. I've tried several different drivers including HP and Gimp Print, but I can't print to the 4si. I've also tried 2 or 3 different 4si printers. Print Center indicates printingis processing but no action occurs at the printer. No problem printing to other printers such as HP Laserjet 4m+ and laserwriter 16/600. Anyone else having this problem? Any good solutions?

I'm sorry I didn't give enough info. All of the 4si printers I have tried to print to are either the 4simx model with built in postscript, or they have had the postscript simm and additional memory added.added
