I have a LJ4000 which had a paper jam. A helpful user ripped the paper out of the printer.

I have followed the paper path and cannot identify any paper, but it seems to be in the drum, as the paper keeps jamming there.

I can't find any info on removing, checking or replacing drum. Any help?

Actually, maybe its not the drum. The jam is at the front of the printer, maybe the last part of the input tray. Anyway, I cannot get into it, so I need some advice please.

There is probably a paper fragment behind the tray 1 input assembly. You will most likely have to remove this assembly to get the paper out.

I agree with Brian27 on this one, as I have seen it many times. It's not hard. Good Luck!!!

Have a nice day today, and a better day tomorrow!!!

Thanks guys, that what I figured. Have now downloaded a maintenance manual and have most of the printer apart.
