Just an annoying thing that has started recently.. When someone prints, the printer squeaks until the job is finished. I looked at the printer and it seems that the rollers on the top of the printer are causing the squeaking.. Is there an easy way to fix this? Or does this need to be addressed by a technician? Thanks for all help..

Use quieter squirels? Actually, a good technician should be able to fix this in a relatively short period of time. If the printer is out of warranty and you feel comfortable swinging a screwdriver, then you could potentially fix it yourself.

The noises only occur when printing?
Check if there is any unusual noises when powering up the printer..

The rollers ure referring to are located very close to the print cartridge(toner) when it is installed, and the cartridge might be defect

I would check the toner. Pull the toner out of the machine, and then shut the door. Listen to the printer, everything should roll over. If you hear no squeak, than put the toner back in, and close the door. If you hear a squeak, than your culprit is the toner.

Have a nice day today, and a better day tomorrow!!!

Thanks for all your help guys! I checked everything and it's still squeaking, so I just called a repair tech...

Try paper transport rollers under toner...next to the transfer roller
