On SQL server 2000 I have a 30 gb log file on a 3 gb database. I need to shrink this down to a resonable amount. I have tried the shrink database option from Enterprise Manager but the size of the file did not change.

How can I reduce the size of this file?

I will only be doing complete database back-ups.

Thanks in advance

Rob
