Laptop Hard Drive

I have a laptop that won't boot - i want to hook the hard drive from the laptop up to a desktop as a slave to get some files off of it. Is there any way to do that?

Yep ..... Do a search on ebay (if you want a cheap one) for USB Laptop HDD adaptors or hdd enclosures

Get a usb 2.5HD adapter, they are only about £9-00 or US$1. Start windows in safe mode and change all the privaledges so anyone can read the disk, this will elimante file visibity problems that can occur with user accounts on the external drive.

You need a 2.5 to 3.5 IDE adapter kit to either temporarily or permanently add you laptop HDD
