laptop can ping but annot get to doamin

I get error pocessing of object domain users failed with the following error: The specified domain either does not exist or could not be reached but I can ping ad server and see all computers on network any suggestions would be helpful

i CAN LOG INTO SERVER WITH ADMINISTRATOR USER AND PASSWORD BUT WHEN I TRY TO ADD USER TO LOG INTO DOMAIN FROM LAPTOP I GET PROCESSING OF OBJECT DOMAIN USERS FAILED WITH THE FOLLOWING ERROR: THE SPECIFIED DOMAIN EITHER DOES NOT EXIST OR COULD NOT BE FOUND.

Have you tried to release then renew the IP address?

Try going to administrator tools, local security policy, access computer from the network: add all the users you want to have access to the network.
