hi,

Anyone who has tried to use the Lantronix UDS10 to transport D-channel information (such as a VNS d-channel) through lan?

If so, does anyone have the setup for the UDS10 to do that?

Thanx..

Lantronix, & 99.9% of other serial devices, these days are asynchronous. D-ch's are synchronous, so you would need to use a synch - asynch converter which could be areal challenge as the only ones I've seen are Black Box & they don't give any information on parity etc.

Would be easier to use synch cct cards in a router, I use Cisco on 14 VNS sites & these work well
