Hi,

I currently have two langauges installed (by default) English and Mandarin. I have tried to get spanish installed using the Language Utility. Spanish (LA) resulted in connection reset issues and Spanish (EU) actually completed apparently successful.

When I restart CallPilot, there appears to be no change.

I am using CallPilot 100 v3.0 ...

Any ideas what is happening?

Thanks

- Nick

Never heard of a trilingual set up and I've never tried removing a language and installing another one but you may find someone here who has.

If you intend to keep the English and the Mandarin, and then add Spanish on top of that, you could always build a custom made submenu off the home menu just for Spanish but any canned greetings or announcements would be played in one of the two primary languages so it wouldn't really be a true, seamless, trilingual interface.

Anybody ever heard of a trilingual set up on any vmail systems designed for Norstar?

nope and i think u need to re-int to get it to change to eng/span

Sorry, maybe I wasn't clear. I used the Langauge Configuration Utility. It is supposed to allow you to identify a language to be removed and another to add - essentially a swap. There should only be two languages installed at any point.

Thanks,

- Nick

When you are using the langauge utility are you putting the disk in as you do the swap?

The lanugage utility is on the CallPilot CD under optional software; that is the exe and language files.

I start the exe and enter the IP address for my CallPilot. I then choose the language to remove and select the language (and path to the language) of the one to add. You must remove and add as a replacement of one for the other. That's it...

Does that answer the question?

Thanks,

- Nick
