All of my IPO 500's v6 are setup with LAN1 port. I've seen some posts that recommend using the WAN port instead. It looks like LAN1 and LAN2 both have the same QoS options. Is there any advantage to using LAN2?
Lan 1 should be used for telephones and applications all the time.
The second lan port can be used for sip trunks or putting the IPO in the customer network when it has it;s own network.

I'm just doing that thing you mencioned: "The second lan port can be used for sip trunks or putting the IPO in the customer network when it has it;s own network"
How can I do that?
I have my 172.70.70.x for voice and 192.168.3.x for data, but with voicemail pro and contact store in same segment as voice and I need internet to send recordings to email. How can I reach the data segment through the WAN?
With a router rule, if I put in 192.168.3.x I can ping 172, but not viceversa.
Thnks in advane
The ip address enteres is outside od the destination LAN subnet range" that only shows when you enter a gateway on a different subnet to the systems LAN port
Will only work if the systms LAN2 port has a 192.168.3.x address, I imagine it doesn't which is why you are getting the error. That's why we need to know what the IP's of the systems ports are and what the gateways address is on the two subnets
If that was the case they wouldn't be the error about the gateway, just because someone has decided that those are the vlan's doesn't mean all the programming required to make it happen has also been done, I always assume not hence the question about addresses
I'm really sorry. The error disappear, I totally forgot the lan2 ip.
Now, I think my error is in gateway address.
Lan 1: 172.70.70.5

gateway: 0.0.0.0
lan 2: 192.168.3.55

ip route: ip: 0.0.0.0
mask: 0.0.0.0
