Moving all my IP interfaces to new LAN switches so that I can do QoS. To make it simple, I am just going to migrate everybody including CMS and Audix. My clans and medpros are all going to be forced to 100 full.

My question is, what speed do I set the lan switch for on my Intuity Audix MAP 5 R5.1 and CMS R12? 100 full, 100 half, auto?

The ports on our gear is set to auto for my intuity, CAS System and Switch. That should work for you.

How do I give an IP address to my clan card? does my med pro card need an IP?

The command for the c-lan would be "ch ip-interfaces. I am not sure for the Medpro (I dont have one) but I would think it would be the same.

ch node-name ip to set up the IP address
ch ip-interface to set up the subnet mask/gateway/network region
ch eth to set up your ethernet options (including the speed)

You can do this for any IP card : CLAN, MedPro, VAL

Just an FYI:
I had the Intuity where I work set for 100/full and the switch as AUTO. A tier three tech told me they prefer Audix to be 10/half on both ends.

We have an Audix MAP 40 software rev: 5.1-37
