I have a 2 laptop home network. Laptop A is the server and connects to the internet through an ADSL modem. Laptop A shares its connection with laptop B. Laptop B has the same public address as Laptop A .. but not really. It has a private IP address assigned to it by laptop A. My problem is that I cannot set up the Remote Desktop offered by win XP. An

Because of the exact same reason Laptop B cannot be set up as an FTP server.

Do i need any special software for this? Is there a way to write the address (either http or ftp) to target laptop B directly from a remote location (e.g. using the local ip after the public?)
