well the way I did it, if you are using a dialup modem, is to have the modem, connected to the net as usual, and then have your NIC connected to all the other computers, youc an do several things, you can have your computer act as a gateway, or you can download a Proxy server, or you can use Wingate3(at wingate.com) which works very nicely, but for some it may be a hassle to setup, check out tucows.com, and find proxy servers under the win98 section, there are hardware options, but none of which I know of which would work with a Dialup modem, and even if there was, it would be much more costly than just using software, there are a few Proxy server I know of that are freeware, (some are free if you just want 2 computers to share) but are limited capability, like almost all will support either email and
