Hi all,

Have two ASA5540's (set up by someone else) there are two seperate Gi connections for LAN failover and Stateful failover. Would it be possible/advisable to use a single connection for failover.

Any advice/pointing me in right direction would be appreciated.

Thanks
Baz

It is not advisable by Cisco to use the same interface as sync and failover. As soon as you have issues, they will ask you to change it back.
