Hello All,

I have a customer who installed Novell Groupwise the lastest version. Their IT department called us because they cant make a outgoing call from the Groupwise client. LAN CTE is functioning fine and the Nortel personal call manager works from the same computer. but when you use the Groupwise dialer it dials but it looks like its dialing a 7 for a access code.

Novell uses the Microsoft dialer built in to windows I've checked the settings in control panel and I see no indication of a 7 for access code.

is there anyway to use the personal call manager as the default dialer for groupwise?

The "7" access code was probably accidentally entered before and cannot be changed; so create a new location under "Control Panel -> Phone and Modem Options" and do not put anything for the access code.

thanks for the reply Naurry

I created the new location and it still puts that 7 in any idea's?

if I use Nortel Personal call manager it works fine. but for some reason the windows throws a 7 in to the dialing plan. I verified this by using BCM monitor and noticed it was selecting lines that were under 7 for a access code. I tried setting up a route using 7 to use the PRI but that didnt work it still would select the same lines.
