Can anyone give me some ideas? I'm looking for a chat program to use locally on our company LAN (Ethernet). WIn 98,2000,NT 4 workstations. NT 4 server and around 50 total workstations. Thanks all info appreciated.

Netmeeting also has chat capabilities. For our company we just decided to implement using AIM. It has given us zero problems integrating it into our core of applications. It is very easy to use, setup and has required no maintenance.

If you are behind a firewall you will need a proxy or socks server though to use it. With Netmeeting you would not need these servers. joegz

Tell me how to find Microsoft Chat on these OS's.

MS Chat...

NT Start->Programs->Accessories->Chat

98 Start-Programs->Accessories->Internet Tools->Chat

Im not too sure about 2000 but its something similar. The only downfall I found was that the chat services have to be started by all users for some one to receive a call....this can be done in the start up of each user though.... Jay~

My new Tae Kwon Do website is up and running!!
