Hi

I tried to run fport on one of my servers and get the message that I have to be an administrator to run it. Very strange cus I am logged in as administrator.

Is there anything I can check or change.

Thanks

Si

Are you logged in as a domain administrator or as local administrator?
When you're logged on as domain admin, check you local permissions on the server.
I know this is not standard. Commonly the domain admins are added to the local administrators-group when joining the domain, but I've seen stranger things happen.

With kind regards,

Thanks for the reply.....Just been on the Foundstone site regarding fport and it states quite clearly that I have to change the compatibility mode to windows xp. Done this and it works.
