probably the easiest problem on here but i just can't think how to do it.my company wants a list of our suppliers on data labels but i've no idea how to make crystal make the list go down and across rather than just down?

What you need to do is right click on the details section (the grey part) and then select format with multiple columns. When you click this you will see another tab appear called Layout. If you select this you can then set the order it prints i.e down across, across down, and also the label width.

You could also select the label report format when first setting up the report.
