Hi,

Access is great for making labels. But usually I only want a few labels on a sheet. The information is different everytime as is the number of labels made in each session. Hence, I am required to start a new sheet or waste some labels.

Is there away to shift the position of individual labels? I know that you can reposition things in the design view, but that ends up creating a pattern that affects all labels.

Thanks!

I've seen this question before and think that someone has posted a FAQ, try searching them. You could do it with code, i'm sure, but have never taken the time to work out just how

As Mikey69 said this was posted fairly recently. The answer in code was not supplied but I remember in the post that the person was pointed to the Microsoft Access 97 Developer's Handbook Chapter 9. The code could not be posted due to copyright reasons but if you can get ahold of this book I believe the person re-posted satisfactory results.

The book is included in electronic form on the Professional Edition of MS Office 97 CD. This is the version that includes Access. I've got the book and will Look at it. Will post again if I've anything to add

I checked the Develpoers Handbook, but couldn't find an apropriate reference. But I have another book which covers the topic comprehensively. It's caled Access 2002 desktop Developer's Handbook by Litwin, Getz and Gunderlay, pub Sybex. It's one of the best of this sort of book I've seen and well worth trying to get. It even has a CD with apropriate code included.
