L700 tape changer on AIX server

Hello,

I'm connecting a StorageTek L700 libray to an AIX p-series server via a Brocade switch, I've received message devices.fcp.changer not found after I ran the cfgmgr command. I can see the 4 FCP tape drives but no changer. Can anybody help. Thanks

Have you installed all the fcp.device.rte's?

devices.fcp.tape.rte 5.2.0.11 COMMITTED FC SCSI Tape Device Software

You will need the changer driver.

What will your backup software be?

What type of tape drives are you using?
