A customer has a KXTD1232 Ver 5.
I want to set up auto changeover to night service at lunch time for 1 hour, then back to day service until 5 pm.
The KXTD is not as flexible as the new KXTDA for this feature. Has anyone ever set up a type of auto dialer - dialing 780/781 to simulate this function automatically at pre defined times.

Did you miss lunch and break? By -5 you have a lunch setting.

I am pretty sure lunch/break is not available on this version.
Prog 102 only refers to day/night Sun-Sat. Also, DDI table in 151/152 are only for Day/Night.

Will double check this.

Yeah, what he said :) The 150 command began with -4. There was a change in -6 but basic lunch is in 4+.

Well, I am unlucky here in England the KXTD does not support lunch break modes. Only basic day and night switching either manual or auto.
Customer will have to upgrade to KXTDA, unless I have the time to devise a way to do it via auto dialer.

Thanks fellas

just set the system up for intercept routing during
the day and set it for 4 or 5 rings and send all calls
to voicemail....

The sad part is that we probably throw away the stuff you needed every month.

Some old voice mail or modem program that can go off hook and dial those codes at Noon and 1PM would work. An old SuperVoice or Voice Fax Modem card. Of course you'd also need to find an ISA bus computer running Dos 6.22 :)

Mike Sandman has Hotel/Motel wake up software that you could probably use. It runs under Windows but it's pricey at $400 here.
