I have a working KX-TVS200 vmm but the hard drive has become noisy and I'd like to make a backup drive. I can use Acronis to do a sector copy to another drive, but is there a limit to the model or capacity of the hdd in this unit?

While I haven't tried cloning the drive on a TVS200, I've done it successfully on the 75 and the 100. In the case of those units, the new drive needs to be the same size as the original....if it's more than about 1GB larger the unit won't recognize it, or will recognize it initially but then the drive will corrupt itself during the first write cycle.
