KX TVS100 Power Light Blinking.

I Have A Panasonic KX TVS 100 that when I try to run the Program Voice Master Software and when I try to Connect to the TVS 100 , comes up to the com port 1 box on my screen and then keeps Serching, will not connect , the power button is blinking Red... Does This Meant a bad hard drive?

Oh yea does the TVS 100 need a PBX to Work and answer calls?

What are you using for programing cable ?
you can test the tvs on a c.o. dialtone but will have to have
integration for kx-t 616 and have day port service set right.....

Im useing a cable thats to com port 1, so this unit does need to be hooked up to a PBX box then? was trying to hook up just the tvs 100 to my phone lines

you need a null modem adapter in the mix a straight thru cable won't work

yes if you have the tvs set right you could hook a co to it to
test
I know of a town hall that has tvs 225 on its main btn hunt group connected too centrex co's works great ......

So where would I find a Modem Adapter? im in florida and went to a couple places just to find a modem cable, even had to use an adapter to make the it from seral to rs232.
Do you think i need to get the right cable? and IM going to run Voice Master software , ( I"LL Be Needing all the help I can get) and that program seems like its something I could work, But only if i can get my computer to see the TVS...

radio shack has null modem adapter usually if you don't have it it wont work can't program period if you have to pay for voicemail master software don't bother use hyperterminal

Well that didnt work,;( is the power light blinking if its working right? and when it starts up the hard drive makes a couple sounds but sounds like it running, I have 2 adapers on my cord to get a seral port to a rs 232 connetion, would that be it?
