This question is rather obscure but important to us none the less. I hope someone out there knows the answer.

With the KX-TVA there is 2 kinds of greetings. There is the company and the personal greeting. The company greeting is the short intro that is followed by the personal greeting when a user calls. Our is ((Company Greeting Portion: Thank you for calling COMPANY A!) (Personal Greeting Option: Our normal business hours are blah blah blah etc.))

The personal greeting is just find and I know where to go to edit it. The COMPANY greeting starts too quickly! If a user calls in the phone will start talking before you ever get a chance to think. Where in the software can I edit this? I've looked through the manuals to no avail.

you can re-record it with a pause before speaking in front

this is in the same place as the custom greeting. or if you have the programming tool you can put a delay on the port to answer, this will also put a delay on internal mailbox access

It really isn't in the same place. Are you familiar with the software? I desperatley need to find someone that has some experience with the software. I just need to know where I should be to edit it. There isn't a whole lot of different screens in the options of the software. You would think it would be obvious.

you record company greeting through the phone only .

We have the tvm here but the programming is much the same I'd say.

To put an answer delay on the AA answering go to port /trunk service and if you are using groups(service group 1) day mode - incoming call service- delayed answer time, this is defaulted as 0 sec. do the same for night-break-lunch mode if you are using them.
