Hello All,

This is my first post - I have just installed a Panasonic KX-TES824 phone system.
We have 3 lines coming in with 4 phones connected.
I need to set up the answering service, so it plays an OGM, then lets the caller leave a message, when we do not pick up the phone, or are already on another call.

Can anyone help?

Best regards,

Roland

does the TES 824 come with built in simple voicemail ?
ours only has the disa ogm card

Thanks for the reply.

I have added the KX-TE82492 Voice mail card.

I have recorded an OGM, but seem unable to get the incoming calls to divert to it.

you are going to wish you had bought the KX-TDA 15/30 and
a TVM50 the performance of our 824 with BV is less good

The OGM is for the Disa\AutoAttendant,
youe needt to set up your voicemail message on your
extn, then forward (bust no answer option)your extn to
the BV Card.

If you wish the KX-TES824 to answer an unanswered call, you first have to divert it to DISA and you have to answer the caller with a message. Only this way can you use interupt to then divert the call to voicemail after a set amount of time unanswered.
