I am switching to a new SIP Trunk provider and having all sorts of DID weirdness...

Incoming DID calls only work from certain carriers.

I upgraded the UPMC to 7.1.1.6 and the help utility no longer matches the options, especially with the SIP programming.

It is possible I may need to upgrade, as much as I shudder at the thought of it.

What is the latest firmware, and does someone have it available for download?

I found V8 here, but it was last modified in 2015.

Thanks,

Rob

You shouldn’t have to go higher, I think v 8 is the highest on the tde.

Have you done a sip trace to see what comes in from the carrier. I would say it is the provider issue and the porting records has not been completed on all carriers

I really think it is a carrier issue.

It is bouncing directly to our fail-over POTS lines. I don not think the failed calls are hitting the PBX.

It does look like there were significant changes to the SIP programming if the manual is correct

There’s more options, but no real change to the sip basic setting. Nothing that stops inbound calls from different carriers on the same trunks

With some carriers it is as if the PBX does not recognize it is a DID.

The calls go to intercept, and then we hear the DTMF when we answer.

It must be something in their switch.

Thanks
