KX-TDA100D Version Upgrade Guide 4

Hi,

As per subject, It seems like i am unable to find any details on upgrading PDMPR Versions from 5.1 to 5.2..

I will need to upgrade the version due to compatibility for KX-DT521 PT..

Currently PT does work, yet with some problems, eg. Display shows "00000000" and all buttons, flexible buttons are not working, intercom buttons show green even not in use

Please advice, appreciate for any input.

IT has being said here already that there is a software release for the tda to use the 5xx series and I have used it on a number of sites. You have to be a dealer and it is also unsupported by Panasonic. They have release it because of the out cry of dealers all over the world due to the 3 xx series being discontinued so quickly
But because the tda is end of life they still will not support it.

Right! I just got the firmware 5.01 for TDA100, 5.2 for TDA100D from dealer which will support the DT5xx series phone, which is also mentioned in the DT5xx manual.

Will confirm this today after firmware upgrade.

UPDATES!

1. Got our TDA100 upgraded to Version 5.01 (Required for DT5xx Phone)
2. Connect to existing card (DLC16) - Problem still persist, telephone display still shows 00000, buttons not working, no ring tone
3. Connect to existing card (DHLC8) - It is working fine!!

DLC16 (KX-TDA0172)
Version: 7.004

DHLC8 (KX-TDA0170)
Version: 8.001

In the DT5xx Series Phone Manual, it does not mention any card compatibility.

Someone can confirm that either do i need to upgrade DLC16 Firmware? or DT5xx not working with DLC16

Thanks for the TDA100D firmware - got it now

DLC16 and DHLC8 card its the same firmware = Version: 8.001
u an load both card whit the pdhlc_v0801.bin

Both cards should go whit the DT5xx then (at 5.2 for the TDA100D )

Sorry, i don't really get you.. Where should i get the .bin file you mention, how should i use/upgrade the dhlc_v0801.bin?

I have done initialize reset > connect using your latest maintenance console (UPCMCv7.8.1.1) > card firmware remains the same as below. Please advice..

Version: 7.004

DHLC8 (KX-TDA0170)
Version: 8.001

upload (file transfer to SD) the bin file

Set card OUS,
File Vieuw and load (that file) and load the file into card ( after picking the OUS card )

Thanks for the files.

Here what i have done :-

1. Transfer bin file PC to PBX
2. Set DLC16 Card to OUS
3. File View and Load
4. Load the file into the card *** From here how do i load the file into the card?

on step (4) i put the card back to INS - Version remains the same, Version 7.004

No worries,

I got it sorted out, i missed another step to load the file to the card!

Now everything tested, DLC16 Firmware, DHLC8 Firmware, MPR Programme Card Firmware, DT5xx Series Telephone Firmware, all are working perfectly now after those upgrades.
