Hello all,
I have just upgraded kx-tda 200 from version 7.0 to version 8.
A: Problem before:
1. kx-5 series phones were not working.

Sysstem version.
1. Pbx version : 7.0
2. MPR version 3.0
3. DHLC8 VERION 7.0
4. SLC 16.

B: UPGRADing to version 8.
I obtained two files:
1. PRIVATE
2. .BIN file.

Step 1: Backed up PRIVATE files.
Followed procedure described here:
System version after upgrade.
1. PBX version 8.0
2. MPR version 5.0
3. DHLC8 version 8.01, three of them.
4. SLC 16.

Success:
1. 5 SERIES working well.

Problem:
1. KX-T 74 SERIES not working.
2. Back up files are not working, dialing digit changed.

Tried:
1. for backup files. I copied DSYS file from PRIVATE backup and put on SD -PRIVATE- new files.
2. Returned SD card to the system, powered on, changed the white button from NORMAL to INITIALIZE SYSTEM.
3. Pressed reset button.
The previous configuration was not restored.
Please, any idea for kx-t74 series and how to restore the backup files.

Much appreciated.

Hello,
I have gone through the previous post.
Here I ask for more clarification.

RESTRING BACK UP FILES:
1. DSYS files from PRIVATE back up -> I have to open it using maintenance console (offline), it will ask you to convert, do it and save your new config file ( check the timers and everyting u whant to check ). I want to rsstore the previous configuration before Upgrade. What is the Extension of DSYS config file?. HELP TO MAKE IT CLEAR?

CONNECTION TO THE PBX.
1. connect to the "new" version pbx / upload the config file ( file transfer PC --> PBX), which file here? DSYS FROM PRIVATE BACKUP?.

I think if I able to restore DSYS files from PRIVATE backup, probably the problem will be solved.

Thank you.
