I have just purchased/commenced installation of a UK model TD816.
I decided to clear all the existing programming by doing a clear/reset.
I have 7 terminals/extensions 1 x KX-T7433, 6 x KX-T7431.
What are the default settings for the extension numbers when dialled as I can't seem to find this info anywhere in the manual i.e. for extensions 1 - 7 what do I dial from the other extensions?

TIA,

Geoff.

KX-TD816: Default

01-1 to 16-1= 101 to 116
01-2 to 16-2= 201 to 216

If it is a uk model 1-1 to 16-1 = 201 to 216 and 1-2 to 16-2 301 to 316. But the 3xx numbers won't work unless xdp is off

Thanks, I tried Otoni's suggestion but each station reported invalid,, so I tried 20x before seeing the last post and that worked.
I was going to try the Panasonic DOS programmer tool which I downloaded yesterday from a Polish site, E1232A, after a google search. Does it require a null modem cable to connect to a computer? If so, is this the same cable used for the old Laplink if anyone remembers it?

TIA,

Geoff.

I wouldn't think the polish software would work. what version system do you have.
dont know the laplink, but you will need a serial 25 to 9 pin connector and a com port on your pc
all programming on the td can be done through ext 201 by default

Try it if you have the correct cable, it will either work or not, just make sure it shows the e suffex on the software
