Hi People
i was asked to look at one of these systems today to try and diagnose a problem with it
the problem is:
there are only 5 extentions on this system and all of them are dead
the main phone they use as a switch board is also dead so i cannot access the unit via the programming button
i have checked the power and performed resets by:
unplugging power for 10mins and powering back on
setting switch to NORMAL and pressing reset
setting switch to CLEAR and pressing reset, then moving to NORMAL within the flashing power light time (suggested this on the manual but was not to sure)
all of these are not making any difference. there have been no cabling changes, i can trace each line back to the unit fine
i tried switching some junctions and coms around to see if a difference was make but nothing
there is a main incoming number which is working fine as i can plug a analogue phone in and get a dialing tone
any suggestions?? they are ringing their helpline today to see if they will help but they dont seem interested......if i done a factory reset (if this even fixes the problem) is the system easy enough to reconfigure? as its only 5 extensions?
