Folks - thank you in advance for the help here. I just installed a KX-NS700 and I noticed a weird behavior when setting up my intercept to voicemail. Here is the configuration:
I have 6 CO lines in trunk group 1. I configured all CO Lines to DIL Destination 601. In the ICD group 601 I setup such as that "Overflow No Answer" to 500 and "time out and manual queue Redirection" to 30 secs.
If i call one of the CO lines everything works okay... All phones in the group 601 rings and after 30 secs the call is redirected to voicemail...
The problem I am having is that I have a "1-800" redirection service that redirects the 1800 number to my first CO Line. When I call the 1-800 number it rings all the extension in the group 601 but it never redirects to voicemail. It actually kicks CO Hunting between the CO lines... I am wondering why if I call the CO line direct after 30 secs I get the voicemail but if I call the 1800 number I never get the voicemail and CO line hunt kicks in...
ANy help here is great appreciated. Thanks!
