Hi

I am using a HP-UX C8000 workstation for CAD work and PC for my documentation. My desk area just got reduce (new office layout) so I would like to reclaim some space by having a KVM switch for the two computers I use. I have tried using a USB KVM switch I have, the HP station did like it. I have seen it done with an HP-UX C3700 and a PC but I do not rememeber what KVM switch was used. I would greatly appreciate any insight or advice anyone has for what manufacture and model to use.

Thanks in advance for any help.

hi there
i have an old HP 715/100 through a KVM switch to the same monitor with 2 PC's.....the KVM is a Belkin Omni-View SE 4-port.

*Don't * by this switch.....it went wild upon switching between the PC's....to the point that i re-attached mouses (mice) to each PC and only use the KVM for the monitor.

when it came time to add my HP-C3000, i bought a separate monitor rather than run it thru the Belkin KVM.

hate to be negative, but sometimes it helps.
