KSU comes up in maintenance mode

I have a Norstar MICS that when powered up comes up in maintenance mode. At this point, I have found no way to get it out. Any ideas will be greatly appreciated.

System is used, probably had an expansion card in it. You have to find the alarm set, it will say cold restart,press yes. If all else fails, open up cabinet, short capcitor out (about the size of a beer cap). This will reset system to default.

When in doubt RTFM (read the friggin manual)

Thank you phone guy. It did have an expansion card it it. Yes it is used. Isn't 221 usually the default set for alarms???

Where is the expansion located make sure it is not in the far left.

The expansion card was in the 3rd slot from the right. The problem was that I had removed it before powering up the system. I have 2 line cards and only 6 lines at this site. My BAD.........live and learn
