Know of a good/cheap MCT Recorder?

Anyone have a good source/Brand for a recorder to use with Malicious Call Trace? I have found the recorder from JEI but that thing is 1700.00 just for a cassette recorder! Anyone have anything better out there?

didn't know you could set up a voice recorder for mct, in the past using that just sent a text msg to a tty... their is a free recorded set up in all windows platforms, drawback is the 1 minute limit, you can restart it but i don't know of auto answer device, i have been looking on the web for a soft answer machine i can use to record my menu services in mer mail, for transport to pilot next month

MCT being malicious call trace, and yes JEI Communications makes a voice recorder for the Meridian, I've had them on previous jobs. YOu connect them to a trunk port that is activated by the agent pressing the Trace key on the set, stops when they hang up, it's just so expensive for the recorder I was hoping there would be an alternative.
