Kill an EXE file

How can i kill an exe file from delphi 6 with button click

when you say kill, do you want to delete the file from the drive ??

Another question: do you want to kill your own exe, or another? I presume another, because killing your own is quite simple with Application.Terminate . Killing another exe needs more work. What O/S are you using? Cheers,

Yes, i want to kill another exe application. I want to know how to kill an exe app with O/S : windows 98, and windows 2000. Can it works on windows XP too ????

The first is a small prog to terminate ALL running tasks (be careful!) and the second a prog to start and monitor running processes.
