sounds like the 'key' is a required part of the application and makes unarthorized distribution or copying of the program incapable of running.
If this is a program you purchased and have the 'key' check the install directions, possibly a modification to your autoexec or config file is missing.
If its an unauthorized copy, the 'key' is doing what it was supposed to do, requiring you to purchase a legal copy.

do you have the progkey device?
has the program worked before and now has stopped?
if the key is installed and the program won't run, possibly the required modifications to Autoexec or Config have not been made. Is there an installation guide?
Does your software program have a users group?
You may try to decompile your executable, remove the logic that tests for the progkey, then recompile.

condition the software:
- running well if the keyprog connected to LPT1
- no user guide
- no installation guide
- and no training (I'm new employee & first employee in new deptartment)
I know if the progkey trouble -> software not running
What can I do if it was troouble? I can't decompile our software. I need your advised.

Well, that's the objetive of the Key (or dongle, or keylock, or whatever you call it): If you have the right key connected to the parallel or USB port then the software runs, if not, you cannot use the software.
So, you need to get the source code to remove the programmed calls to the key.
Try to look at Valkyrie (decompiler) (there is a discussion about it somewhere in this forum).
Unfortunnatly, a program protected with hardware it's very difficult to break appart, unless you have the source.

I'm not really suggest people using keyprog to write program. Did you see microsoft Windows using keyprog ? It is the legal and copyright things to maintain your image.
NOrmally the lock is set using a program, but then, if each lock is programed, to each person, it would be design one software to detect the serial number for one person.
Even when you upgrade your software, it will be, compiling each version for each customer and you keeping each customer number.
normally they set serial number for each keypro is same for each type of product. If one cracks one type of lock, it would be one type of product being cracked.
one type means : one software title.
