Keycodes

I have a box that is bad. I have a new BCM 400 4.0. I have regenrated the keycodes from the old system for the new system. The box is rejecting the keycodes. The original box was a BCM 400 3.6or7 upgrade to 4.0. Since the boxes dont match in original rel. Is this a problem?

The original box needs to be a 4.0 for the codes to be entered.
If it was upgraded to 4.0 and the replacement is a 4.0 it should work. Check your sys ID's in the KRS.

Was it upgraded to 4.0 via the upgrade kit or by replacing the 3.6 HD w/ a 4.0HD?

Thanks for the responses guys. The problem was on Nortels side they had to adjust the keycodes to match the new box. So they had to take out the upgrade in the keycodes since the box was a 4.0 rel. Once they did that the keycode took. Again thanks
