Yes i tried another keyboard, non usb and usb!!

I need some more technical help please, changing the keyboard is so obvious i di not put it in my post!

Sounds to me like you have a fried motherboard port. Try the same keyboard on another computer, if it works that validates the keyboard is OK.

You could also try just booting to a command prompt and seeing if the keyboard is recognized. If it is not, then you no for sure that the port on your motherboard is dead.

I hope you find this post helpful.

The keyboard is recognize in the bios, is that far enough?

Also, if i remove it form the device manager and reboot, it is detected again with an exclamation mark asif the driver is not working, I have tried to force the driber but nothing

Thank's

Try booting into safe mode and see if the keyboard works. If it does not then use the mouse to get to Device Manager and delete the keyboard and have it get redetected. If still no joy, try running MSCONFIG and disable everything on the StartUp tab. Reboot and see if any luck. If the keyboard comes back, ennable items on the StartUp tab two at a time. when the keyboard fails again you know it is one of the last two items you re-enabled. If you enable more than two items it will take you longer to isolate which is the problem but it will reduce the number of reboots you must endure.

I hope you find this post helpful.

Mark

How long have you let the machine sit after installing the keyboard? Sometimes takes a little while. I had a machine one time it took 15 min for it to load the drivers!
