Is there a keyboard shortcut for switching back and forth between the Content tool and the Item tool?

THANK YOU--that will save me time.

In windows based QuarkXPress if you have the content tool selected then you just need to press the ctrl key to change it to the item tool.

In mac based QuarkXPress if you have the content tool selected you just need to press the Command or the apple key on your keyboard.

Adding to Mrtechno's : u can achieve the same with all the keys in the toolbar besides the zoom tool...

CTRL + ALT + SHIFT + TAB moves up the tool box
CTRL + ALT + TAB moves down the tool box

i would like to inform 'Mrtechno' and 'Rosscage' to get their info straight and not mislead people. Please do not write nonsense.

I would like to inform "Czar" that he should not disable useful advice.

Command shift tab (on a Mac, QXP 3 and 4) do move the tool selection to the next position on the tool bar, and command option shift tab do select the next tool above (wrapping at the ends.) Has been true, and used daily, for the past 8 years or so.

I don't use version 5, so I can't say about that, but from what I know of the parallel Windows versions 3 and 4, I don't see why you spat on that advice? Is there something that doesn't work for you?

George
