Keyboard macro - "How Do I..."

Is there a way to set up a keyboard hot-key combination which would automatically generate a (pre-stored) text string?
For example, my email address?

If I were you I would look at some clipboard software that runs in the background of Windows.

Take a look and see if any of these apps are worth using:

Darren - Thanks for the suggestions...
Using the clipboard got me thinking - besides the third-party clipboard apps mentioned in the link there are a few in the Win98 Resource Kit.
"Cliptray.exe" works fine.
