I know this isn't the usual problem found here, but I wondered if anyone else had encountered a similar problem. We have a standard PC running Windows XP using Office 2000. The keyboard settings all look OK and work OK within Word (and other programs), e.g. Up Arrow moves the cursor up etc.

However within Excel when you press the Right Arrow Key it MOVES the screen 1 column to the right, as if you were scrolling on the bottom scroll bar. The other arrows behave in the same way - moving up/down, left/right accordingly.

Any ideas?

Many thanks, Des.

Yes, YEs, YES!!!

15 years and I've NEVER had cause to use that key. I was using Proxy to remote view the spreadsheet and couldn't figure out what was going on.

Deserves a star from me.

Many thanks, Des.
