I'll say up front I hate key systems and I have been fighting against this but I have an office and I'm told we must have the IP Office going in programmed to operate as a key system. It's been a while since I've done this but what are the limits in key system operation as far as trunks go. I seem to recall a 4 analogue trunk limit? Is that still the case?

Lou Malnati's was good, like the deep dish, just can't eat it too often. I had Pizzeria Due's last time I was in Chicago, liked it better. Great city. But back on the subject, I don't see how an IP Office would work in a small shop or storefront. They should've just kept the Partner going, but then again the Partner was too basic..

We sell IPO essential even for customers with only four phones. Er tried it one time without essential edition and it was horrible. But to be honest... I think in Europe the customers know systems like essential edition for a long time and will not like those pretty basic systems. Perhaps it comes together with the fact that even the smallest customers have DDI ISDN trunks.

Key system limit = the year 1999

I think you mean 1899 :)

Cust who insist on key system functionality are doing so simply because they have never seen anything better & are resistant to change.
Simplicity? what is more simple than "If your phone rings pick it up?", make a call? simply dial the number

no need to worry is this call for me (if it wasn't it wouldn't ring). am I selecting the correct line (of course you are the system knows which lines you are supposed to be using.

BLF keys for internal transfers (if wanted) and you are all done.

A Maintenance contract is essential, not a Luxury.
