Implemented PGP with PGP keyserver ver 7 and running clients on PGP 8.0.2. LDAPS being used for communication with the server. The only thing thats not working is key reconstruction.. it has been enabled and on key generation, the data gets uploaded to the server, but on trying to reconstruct keys, ending up with an error mesg that says
PGP error
An error has occured: No such attribute..

Has anybody seen this before..? Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Hi
I found the solution. The issue is basically a conflict between 2 different options that PGP has. I had configured the key policy such that a key required a trusted introducer signature before being accepted into the database. This was preventing key reconstruction data from being uploaded to the recontrustion server. Solution: users have to manually upload key reconstruciton data after getting the key signed.

warrier,

I tried your solution: however, I ran across another error after the manual upload:

“An error has occurred: Operations error”

This occurred after I retyped in the 5 questions and sent it to the reconstruction server. The Authentication server information came up and I hit confirm. The above error popped up.

Any insight?
