Key Expansion Module - Can't Answer DNs

I have a 2616 programmed with a key expansion module. The programming is below. The user sees/hears the phone ring when the lines programmed on the module ring, and the module definitely has power, but the user cannot answer the lines when she presses the ringing button. Is there some sort of privacy setting preventing her from answering the lines on her expansion module? I've never heard of this if the DNs are programmed as SCRs, and the call is not already in progress.

If you hit any of the buttons on the MOD do you get dial tone?

Has this MOD ever work on this phone before?

Sounds like the module doesn't work at all? Early release 2616's either don't work with the modules, or need external power to work with a module.

Double check your expansion module connection to the 2616, are you getting strange error cods referring to that set's TN and button number?

I'm curious if this makes a difference - she does NOT have an external power adapter (and I'm aware that come versions need one), however she is getting power to the add on. When calls come into the extensions that are programmed on the add on, they ring and flash on her phone, but when she presses the buttons to answer them, nothing happens. Would this still be a power issue?

If the jacks on the 2616 are both in the same direction you do not need a power supply. If they are opposite you have an older model phone and will need the power supply. All in all it sounds like a bad AOM

I concur Doug!!! Finally.

I did some troubleshooting with her and we tried another phone with an add-on at her location, and it works perfectly. We're gonna replace the add-on.
