I am using forms 9i.

In my form, I am using the mouse-doubleclick trigger to display LOVs. The users want to use the Enter key to display LOVs.

I tried using the key-enter trigger but it does not fire at all.

I think the default ctrl-L would work for them.

But I would like to know:
1. why doesn't the key-enter fire?
2. how can I get it to fire?

Thanks for the help.

The trigger you are looking for is KEY-NEXT-ITEM. By default, this trigger fires when you press either of the ENTER keys or the TAB key.

Thanks,
I found that but I want to display the LOV only when they use the Enter key not that Tab.

So Tab for navigation, Enter for the LOV.

Thanks again.

You will need to change the keyboard config to make the enter keys work differently from the tab. By default, forms has TAB and ENTER keys working the same way, except when in a multi-line text item.

Where can I find documentation for using Oracle Terminal? Or is there a different utility to use for 9i.

Thanks again for the help.
