Hi, I am new to the BCM world and would like a bit of help.

I have a bcm 200 and 400 with a mix of i2002 & i2004's attached, how do I stop the key click tones when I dial a number.

Thanks

You change that on the phone, press the services key go to telephone options its under there.

Is it you couldn't turn it off o you couldn't find the the feature?

This is a Signature and not part of the answer, it appears on every reply.

This is an Analogy so don't take it personally as some have.

Why change the engine if all you need is to change the spark plugs.

I understand that, I haven't tried that on I phones, but on 3900 type you go into the phone and turn off Live Keys.

Am well versed on the IP phones for the BCM, and have never seen a setting to stop the "thudding" sound when a button is pushed on the keypad. I believe it is there to alert the person that a button has indeed been pushed.

Found the option it's te dial type:

Standard
Auto
Pre-dial

I needed pre-dial.

That's got nothin' to do with eliminating key clicks. Pre-Dial accepts all digits dialed but does not send DTMF until outside access is established. DBrewsky, gave you correct info.

Glad, it fixed your issue.
