Hi, when I shut down some games (not all of them) my computer freezes up and gives me a kernel 32 error, leaving me no alternative than to reboot the computer. Any ideas on what this might be and more importantly: how to get rid of it.

Thanx,
Max.

For starters, go to Start > Run > and type in : SFC
Choose to extract one file, and extract kernel32.dll from the windows CD.
If that doesn't fix it completely, it could be anything, from a corrupt game install to a bad mouse, poor video driver...You've got to kinda wait for another crash to see what the error is. Cheers,
Jim
