Keeping Sent Folder Organized

Outlook 2003 seems to have a mind of its own when it comes to how sent messages are grouped in the Sent folder. Messages to John Smith may appear under "John Smith", "Smith, John", "'John Smith'", "'Smith, John'", "Johnsmith@address.com", "'Johnsmith@address.com'",and so forth. I mantain a consistent filing and display order in my Contacts folder, which keeps my Inbox orderly, but cannot get Sent messages corraled.

I want to be able to look for messages sent to one recipient in just one place, not in multiple locations, in my Sent folder. Is there a way to accomplish this?

Have you had a look at using the journal feature to track your mails with.

Or... Have you tried creating additional Outlook folders for you recipients and when you use the Organise feature you can have it keep relies to recipients in that folder with the original mail.

Works for me...
