keeping input box values when using history.go(0)

Dear All

Is there a way that I can refresh/reload the input box values that were present before history.go(0) was called.

I have some data entered in the input boxes but when the history.go(0) is called all the data disappears.

I want to use the values to display and to do some calculations when the form opens again.

Hope someone can help.

I had heard of the technique using cookies but not the one using meta tags. I will look into using meta tags on the internet.
