Hi: I need to keep 7 phone extensions alive for a few months while these people are offsite and new people take over their desks with new extension. Their voice mail is required, but they will forward their phones to their cell #'s. I am going to set up one 3904 and put all of the extensions on it as SCN's and hide the phone in our PBX room. I will need to take their TN's to allow for the new people.

Is there a better more professional way to do this without tying up a phone and a TN?

Nortel - 11 switch

Thanks

Why not asign their extensions as ACD dn's then NCFW that to their cell phones.

If you remove LD32 from the DROL settings in LD17 should do the trick

It's actually LD 30 that does the continuity test.

If you remove this you should also remove LD 45 from your DROL's.

I'd personally use either phantom TN's or IDC to a CDP entry (no TN's required).

if you remove ld 30 from midnites the clocks will not swap. keep this in mind so if you experience static you can check your clocks against your active cpu and swap if needed.
